WebJul 13, 2006 · My problem is that I keep getting crappy grainy normal maps. Here is a basic example of what I mean… Both object have good UV layout with no overlaping UVs. I am following a tutorial video and I’m baking the map with the highest quality settings but I still get these awfull grainy surfaces. It looks like the normal mapped object has acne!
