Webb14 nov. 2024 · The Sargent has a higher than stock area at the back but a lower than stock area at the front. At a stop I move forward slightly and I can flat foot. The seat is much more comfortable than stock also. My 2 cents. Bug. Webb19 mars 2012 · With a 30" inseam, you should consider a lower seat. My recommendation is the Sargent low seat which will definately get your feet on the ground. It's also so, so comfy!! With your inseam and the peg position on the GS, you still shouldn't have any problem with knees cramping. Webb14 nov. 2014 · The foam is considerably firmer than stock and there is room to move forward and back so you don't get a locked into one position as with the stock seat. In addition, the Sargent seat has a bit of 'tractor seat' shape which spreads the load over a wider area. I only ride solo so I got just the rider's seat.
